Overview
Zone Employee Portal supports multiple Leave Configurations. When integrated with an existing NetSuite instance where ZonePayroll / Leave Management are installed, all the existing Leave Configurations will be automatically synced across.
Most of the Leave Configuration fields are synced from NetSuite. To make changes, please log into NetSuite and make any changes there.
The only Leave Configuration fields that can be edited/saved in Zone Employee Portal (because they do not exists in NetSuite) are:
- Notifications
- Additional Available Leave Types
The other fields must be changed in NetSuite
Leave Types available to request
Leave Types can be assigned to users in 3 ways:
- Basic common types defined on NS Employee record. These are mostly required by jurisdiction (usually Annual Leave, etc.)
- Other leave types that are assigned to users by Country/Subsidiary (see leave type country or subsidiary assignment in NS)
- Other leave types defined in Zone Employee Portal in Leave Configuration - field "Additional Available Leave Types"
